Flow Yoga

Flow yoga has become increasingly popular in recent years. As the name suggests it’s a flowing and dynamic form of yoga that tones muscles, burns calories and improves body shape. Flow yoga will give the muscles, joints, heart and lungs a thorough workout. This modern style of yoga exercises the whole body to promote harmony and balance in your life. Flow yoga is ideal for increasing fitness levels in all respects as regular practice helps develop greater flexibility, improve stamina and increase muscle strength. Classes include sections targeting cardio-vascular fitness, weight-bearing exercises, core strengthening and improved mobility. Sessions end with a relaxation/meditation technique to relieve stress and boost mental wellbeing.

If you like more active and vigorous types of fitness classes such as Pilates, aerobics and Zumba, this more active and faster paced style of practice is a great introduction yoga.

The mixed ability classes are suitable for all ages and abilities, including beginners and are enjoyable and invigorating yoga sessions that allow you to stretch and relax.
